About the Ender Minecraft server
The Ender Gaming Club has its own private Minecraft server where players can meet and play together during club time. You'll connect to the server for the first time while linking your child's Minecraft account to their Ender profile. The process of adding the server to your child's Minecraft game only takes a few minutes, and allows them to quickly connect to the server each day during club.
What edition of Minecraft do I have?
Minecraft has two separate editions: Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. The instructions you use to connect to the Ender Minecraft server will depend on which edition of the game your child will be using. Most devices only support one version, and you can use the list below to determine which version matches your device:
- Windows computer: Java OR Bedrock Edition (selected in the Minecraft Launcher)
- MacOS computer: Java Edition
- Phone/tablet: Bedrock Edition
- Game console: Bedrock Edition
Minecraft: Java Edition instructions
To connect to the Ender Minecraft serving using Minecraft: Java Edition, complete the steps below:
- Open Minecraft: Java Edition through the Minecraft Launcher app.
- On the main menu, select "Multiplayer".
- At the bottom of the "Play Multiplayer" screen, click the "Add Server" button on the right-hand side.
- Make the following selections on the "Edit Server Info" screen
Server Name: Ender Minecraft Server
Server Address: minecraft.joinender.com
Server Resource Packs: Enabled
- Click the "Done" button. You'll return to the "Play Multiplayer" screen and the Ender Minecraft server will be added to the list of available server.
- Click on the Ender Minecraft server in the server list. It will be outlined to indicate it has been selected.
- At the bottom of the "Play Multiplayer" screen, click the "Join Server" button to connect.
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition instructions
To connect to the Ender Minecraft server using Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, complete the steps below:
- Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
- On the main menu, select "Play".
- At the top of the "Play" screen, click the "Social" button on the right-hand side.
- At the bottom of the "Friends" panel, select the "Search for players" button.
- On the "Search for players" screen, enter the name "joinender" into the "Find players by gamertag" field.
- Locate the account named "joinender" in the "Search results" panel and select it.
- Click/tap the green "Add friend" button to send a friend request. The request will be auto-accepted within a few moments.
- Use the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the "Play" menu.
- Make sure the "Worlds" view is selected at the top of the interface.
- Wait for a few moments, and a world called "The Minecraft Club" should appear with a green "Friend's world" tag on it.
- Cllck/tap on the server to connect.
